Valentina Vardanyan

Valentina Vardanyan has 15 years of experience in the field of rheumatic diseases, both autoimmune and autoinflammatory.

She is especially interested in systemic sclerosis, antiphospholipid syndrome and seronegative spondylitis.

She is employed at Yerevan State Medical University since 2005 and currently works as Associate Professor and Head of Education part at Department of Rheumatology of Yerevan State Medical University, as well as attending rheumatologist at “Mikaelyan” University Hospital.

Dr. Vardanyan is an author of more than 30 scientific publications. She had performed her own scientific research concerning revelation of factors – predictors of toxicity and efficacy of methotrexate in patients with connective tissue diseases and Familial Mediterranean fever and received PhD degree in 2012.

She had been principal investigator in 2 complete clinical trials, scientific coordinator – in 4 complete clinical trials. She had participated more than 40 international scientific meetings and observerships abroad. She is a member of EMEUNET (The Emerging EULAR Network).
